The Government believes that the Early Years Pupil Premium funding, which is additional to main school funding, is the best way to close the attainment gap between children. National data and research tells us that children from low income and other disadvantaged families do less well than their school peers. The Early Years Pupil Premium will provide us with extra funding to close this gap.

Delayed language development leading to problems with confidence and self-esteem, listening and attention, understanding and speech are the barriers that effect the Early Years Pupil Premium children. We address these through intervention strategies.
