At Abbey Green Nursery School we have demonstrated that we meet the necessary standards
in supporting children and young people (CYP) with additional physical needs.

The Physical and Medical team in Bradford have used the pdnet Standards to
devise a process by which settings can be awarded the status of being
‘Physically Friendly’. Pdnet is a national organisation established to support
professionals who work with CYP with additional physical needs.

Abbey Green Nursery School have worked over the course of 10 months, with support from the
Physical and Medical team and pdnet’s online resources, to audit our current
provision, devise action plans to target areas for development and finally,
ensure that we could demonstrate meeting the pdnet Standards sufficiently
for the award to be given.
